The Outside World strives to delight each and every customer by providing diverse, high-quality products that will meet and exceed your expectations. If for any reason, though, you decide that a product is not suitable for your needs please feel free to return the unused, unaltered and unwashed items within 30 days of purchase for either a full refund or exchange. Returned boats will be credited minus 10% for a restocking fee. Original tags and receipts of purchase must accompany all returns. Boats must be wrapped in original shipping materials. Returns due to manufacturers defect will be handled according to the manufacturers policies. Please not that all international sales are final.
Due to certain safety and liability issues, select hard goods items, such as climbing equipment, cannot be returned. If you have any questions concerning purchases of this nature please contact us at 1-866-375-BOAT (2628) or info@theoutsideworld.net.
Refunds will be made in a timely manner upon receipt of the returned items. Refunds will be made to the credit card used for the order. If the return is not our error, we will not refund shipping costs. If the return is in our error, we will refund shipping costs.
Please note that all international sales are final.
*Due to the cost of shipping, orders that have been shipped for free and are returned will no longer qualify for free shipping. If the item you are returning received free shipping, the original shipping cost will be deducted from the amount refunded. Shipping Policies
The Outside World offers both standard and expedited shipping via UPS. Boats are shipped by a select group of freight companies. It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect all boats before they are signed for. We cannot be held responsible for any damage done during shipping. Please contact us if you require other shipping arrangements. All standard shipping orders received by 12 Noon EST will be processed for shipment by the end of the second business day.

Kayak and Canoe Freight After placing your order, an Outside World representative will contact you within 24 hours to discuss your shipping options. Please review these options below before purchasing your boat. The Shipping Rate that is added to your order during check out is an estimate only, and may change depending on which shipping option you choose. The actual shipping amount is what will be charged to your credit card. Your Credit Card will not be charged until an Outside World representative has contacted you and discussed your shipping options.

In most cases we can have your Kayak delivered in approximately 6 - 10 days from the time your order is placed (excluding holidays and days we are closed).

*The above shipping rate is to a certified business address in the lower 48 states. If we identify that your location is on an island or extremely out-of-the-way location we reserve the right to charge you additional shipping fees. If this happens you will be contacted by The Outside World staff before any charges are made. Feel free to call for a quote if you think you are one of these people. Shipping to a residential address incurs a $50 charge and will be added to your bill later. By purchasing from The outside World website you agree that you have read and understand the above policies.
Third Option: Shipping to Residential Address Additional $50 will be added to the above Commercial Address shipping option after our verification of shipping address.
